Claire trained as a salsa dance teacher whilst living in Paris. She obtained her advanced salsa teaching diplomas at the renowned Ecole des Danses Latines et Tropicales and spent many years teaching Cuban and Puerto Rican salsa there. She was also a guest teacher and performer at many salsa soirees in Paris, notably at La Coupole.
In addition to teaching at l'Ecole des Danses Latines et Tropicales, she set up her own salsa classes for all levels in a studio in Paris. She can also teach Merengue, Bachata and Cha Cha Cha, and is at ease with large numbers in her class.
Claire has presented many self-choreographed shows at various functions in France and Britain and also specialises in devising set pieces that couples can start off the dancing at their weddings- and she always listens to their requirements,tailoring the choreography accordingly.
A trained actor as well as a dancer, Claire has the ability to enthuse and involve her students. Classes are fun and successful. Claire will also be delighted to present demos at weddings/parties and functions. Prepare for the wow factor of salsa!
